Hello Community,
We plan to perform a full data copy from our JIRA production environment to our Sandbox. We are concerned about the internal IDs of the custom fields in the Sandbox instance post-copy, as our REST-API connectors reference these custom field identifiers (specifically, the numeric identifiers, not the labels).
Our question is: After performing the full data copy to the Sandbox, will the custom field identifiers be updated to match those from the Production environment, or will they remain unchanged?
And what if we only copy a single Project data to Sandbox?
Thanks
Hello @David Merino
In my experience when a full copy of production data is executed, then the custom field IDs in the sandbox match what is in the production/source instance.
I have not done a single project copy, so I'm not sure what happens in that case.
