Custom CANCELLED status issues don't complete with sprint completion

I added a custom status called `CANCELLED` in `DONE` Category:

The stories switched to that status get a strike through as done in the current sprint, but when I close the sprint they re-appear in the next started sprint:

How can those be considered `DONE` even if with custom `CANCELLED` status and not re-appear again.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

For sprints an issue is considered "complete" only if it is the column farthest to the right on your board. The actual status doesn't matter, as long as it is in the right-most column.

You can have multiple "done" statuses, but you will have to map them all to the right-most column.
