Configuring the from field for notification e-mails

Hi,

We would like to change the from value for issue notifications. Currently the from response is always the user who created the ticket. We would like to change this to be a generic system value. I change the Email from value in the general settings to not include the fullname, just a fixed string. This didn't have any effect. Is there anyway to control the from field for notification?

Hi,

I believe this is not possible, because the service which generates the email have a parameter that is based on the project, and not based on the reporter of the issue.
