×Some of my child issues of my epic/phase don't show up on the board.
This is a free version of jira on cloud with no specific board filter.
What am I doing wrong?
Hello @Kishore!
It looks like the child issues created directly from the epic/phase aren’t showing on your board due to a visibility setting. Here's what may help:
Team-managed boards in Jira sometimes default to showing specific issue types. Ensure that no filter is limiting the board to certain types like Stories only.
I would try to use the "Group By" dropdown on the board and select "Subtasks." This should organize child issues under their parent issues, so they’re easier to track.
Let me know if these steps help!
Thanks for the reply @Yuliia Tkachenko_TitanApps_
When I create any type from the board, it works.

Thank you @Kishore for checking those!
Another ideas that I have:
1. Try to check Swimline settings: maybe try to set them to None temporarily to see if it affects visibility.
2. Can you please check if the issues display in the list view? This will help to understand if the issue is with board configurations

Thanks for the reply again.
Definitely a board problem.

Thank you for more information! At this point I'm not sure that I can help to resolve the issue, sorry.
If there is no issues with the board query or filter configurations, the last thing I would recommend to check is that there’s no specific configuration or limitation on the parent-child relationship display on the board.
What I would personally do is to create a new board as a test. Creating a fresh board with the same configuration can reveal if there was an unseen issue with the original board setup.
Really hope it'll help!
