Change order of status

I've seen other questions to this but none that seem to address my particular issue. I was able to change the order of my statuses by adding numbers (they seemed to be alphabetical for each type). But now my lists are all out of order. How do I change that to the order I want them in?

Hi Stoney - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There are several posts that address this, but basically you need to add a property value for the transitions to the statuses to set the opsbar sequence. You can see that described in this post:

Did you use workflow transition property opsbar-sequence ?

I believe what you order are the transitions and as a result the statuses to.

Unfortunately I don't know what any of those words mean or how to do that. I know how to access the workflow, but adding transitions creates other issues I do not want. I'm not a programmer so I don't really understand what an opsbar-sequence is or how to do it.
