We are working on a Kanban team-managed project in Jira. In the backlog view, I cannot see epics in the epic panel (even when I create one via the epic panel, upon refreshing the page it disappears).
I also cannot see the epic in the backlog list view -- only after I've clicked into the detail of the ticket does it show up in the list view. After I refresh the page, the epic is gone again.
I've checked all our filters; we don't have a custom epic type; I cannot go to any 'Board' settings.
Any help appreciated!
Hi @Alyssa Coke Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
Are you certain that the epics are filtered in using the board filter? To have them in the side panel, you need to filter them in. Also be sure that the epics are not excluded (same page).
You can check that in Board - Configuration - General.

Hi Dick, the as far as I can tell - yes. But I don't have the same options in my settings as I've seen for others. Here's what I can configure:

Try custom filters. That would be the place to select the issues that will be used in the board.
