Can you have more than 1 Organization Admin

Can you have more than 1 Organization Admin and if so how do you add the second User as the Organization Admin? If not, how do you relinquish your Org Admin Permission and transfer to another User?

Welcome to the community!

Yes, having more than one Organization Admin is possible and recommended. Atlassian recommends always having at least two Organization Admins to ensure you don't lose access to important administrative functions. To add another Organization Admin:

  1. Log in to admin.atlassian.com and select your organization.
  2. Go to Settings > Administrators.
  3. Click on "Add administrators".
  4. Enter the Atlassian account email address of the user you want to make an Organization Admin.
  5. Click "Grant access".

It's important to note that only existing Organization Admins can add new ones. If you want to transfer your Organization Admin role to another user:

  1. First, add the new user as an Organization Admin using the steps above.
  2. Once they have accepted the role, they can remove your Organization Admin permissions if needed.

Remember, you cannot remove your own Organization Admin permissions. This is a safety measure to prevent accidental loss of admin access. If you're having trouble seeing the "Administrators" option under Settings, please ensure you're logged in with the correct account that has Organization Admin permissions.

Hello I get it I logged in here but when I gone to settings I couldn't find Administrations (I have android)

Yes you can have multiple Organization Administrators.

Note there are two User Management models. Make sure you look at the section of the document that applies to the model in use for your Organization.
