Can Jira estimate a burndown based on labels instead of fix version?

We have several issues to resolve with specified label and have not added a fix version. Is it possible to generate some estimates based on labels or does it require a fix version?

the following won't help you with burn-down charts (yet), but may be useful for summing up and analysing your story points based on labels (or any other field or fields, really):

My team and I are working on a Marketplace App named JXL for Jira, which is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues, directly in Jira. With JXL, you can view, inline-edit, sort and filter by all your issue fields, as well as apply advanced features such as issue hierarchies, grouping, sum-ups, or conditional formatting.

E.g., to group and sum-up your story points by label would be a matter of just one click, like so:

You can configure different kinds of sum-ups (like, for example, a simple "sum" of story points), create nested groupings, and many other things. You may already know that you can trial any app for free for 1 month, so perhaps give JXL (or any other relevant app) a try and see if it provides values to you.
