Bulk change done on the "Fix Version" didn't apply correctly.

ranil.fernando February 28, 2024

I've made a bulk edit to 70 issues in "Fix Version" field,  What I added in to the field was "PRF IMG IR1", which is a release which I created before.

Bulk change process went without an issue, but when I select an Issue and check whether the change has come to effect, I noticed the "Fix Version" field is still empty.

I checked the issue history and this is how it shows. Now i'm confused. Appreciate any inputs.

Hi @ranil.fernando

I find it suspicious that the history entry says "Fix Versions" (Versions with uppercase V) and the side panel says "Fix versions" (versions with lowercase V). On my site, the history says "Fix versions", too.

Is there perhaps another (custom) field on your site named "Fix Versions" and you updated the wrong field?

thanks a ton for the pointer, will do a check and see.
