Can i add the system date or now() date when creating an issue

We have attachement to upload a file ..

I want to add the Uploaded date or (attached date) to be the default system date

I dunno if this is a development question since date should be save somewhere in some table in the database

i checked the database table concerning attachement files

they are stored in [JiraDb].[jiraschema].[fileattachment] so maybe i can add a column dateAttached type datetime

I need a solution

thanks

I don't understand the question. If you hover the cursor over an attached file, it gives you the attached date, and it's stored in the database table you mention. I don't know why you can't see that? (I've just tried attaching an old file from a couple of weeks ago in my dev Jira and it's showing today's date - could you explain what you are seeing if you're getting something different?)

Oh, and when you click on "attached files" when on the issue view, there's a specific "date attached" column in the display table.
