I know Atlassian does not provide SOC1 reports, but the audit company PwC insisted that we contact Atlassian to issue the report. PwC claims that many of their clients use Atlassian's products, but they are also unable to provide this report, leaving end users with other cumbersome means to meet audit requirements.

I wonder if Atlassian has received similar user complaints. Is it possible for Atlassian to negotiate with PwC at the company level or provide a SOC1 report in the future?

SOC 1 is for applications that are being used for financial reporting.  Atlassian does not build applications for financial purposes, so there is no reason to have a SOC 1 report.

I'm afraid that, as usual, PwC do not know what they are talking about.
