Jira Cloud has a built-in calendar feature.
Jira Server had a plugin directly from Atlassian.
Jira DataCenter has neither, as far as I can tell, and must rely on questionable Marketplace addons from questionable sources (like single developers from Russia). I'm wondering if there have been any statements of intent from Atlassian to perhaps port the Cloud calendar feature over to DataCenter, or implement a similar solution, in the not too distant future?
(To be clear, I'm not looking to sync with an external calendar, like Google or Exchange. I'm simply looking for a calendar contained within a Jira project, in which members of that project can schedule events.)
Hi @Niko Roth,
As a workaround, I also recommend considering ActivityTimeline, our resource planning and time tracking add-on for Jira. As a Platinum Marketplace Partner, we are trusted by a broad user base within the DataCenter community.
ActivityTimeline offers a robust calendar feature integrated within your Jira project, allowing your team members to schedule, manage, and visualize their events seamlessly:
If you have any questions or need clarification on using ActivityTimeline, I'm here to help.

Hi @Niko Roth
It's Mary from Planyway for Jira
Unfortunately, I can not say for Atlassian intentions but I recommend you to use Planyway calendar which is super simple and straightforward. Hope it'll work for you. There is a 30-day trial to test it out.
