Allow a user to see his Issues only

Reatha Ek July 21, 2011

Hi there!

Have been looking for an answer on this, but no success. How can I allo a user to see his issues only, and not all issues of the project?

I am sure it is simple - but how?

Use the Issue security levels and create one to use the current Assignee only & then use this by default for the project.

They can have the Browse project permission but every issue is Assignee only ?

Create A Security Issue Scheme, then add a Security Level to it (link on right)

Create it as assignee only

Then in your project admin, select the Issue Security Scheme:

Be careful because you can lock yourself out of seeing anything, you may want to put a couple of Security Levels in which include the project Administrator or jira administrators

Wow, that was quick. And on top of that it even works!
