My users are complaining that "Summary" isn't a very helpful name for what is really a Title field in our usage. I've understood that you cannot rename the Summary field, but would it be possible to add description/instruction on how to use this field?
I would like this description to be visible below or next to the Summary field when using the Create button, either in plain text or via an information icon. Ideally the content would be customizable for each issue type, but just a generic description would also work. I'd like to avoid creating a custom field for this, if possible.
I'm working in a company-managed project.

Create a new field configuration and field configuration scheme, associate this with the project.
Edit the new field configuration and find the field Summary and use the edit action to add a description to the field.
