In jira data center automation if the actor for that automation is not a part of the jira org, so the automation will run perfectly or will throw any error. because the automation is clearing out the field and inside the history of the ticket it's showing that the changes are made by the actor in the automation.
So just want to know about this thing if actor is not part of jira anymore so how it will affect?
Hello @mohit jangid
Do I understand your scenario correctly?
1. You have an Automation Rule where the Actor is set to "User A"
2. "User A" has been deactivated, or no longer has a license for the Jira product, or has been removed from the User Directory.
If that is accurate, then the rule should fail to run. The Actor of the rule must be a licensed user and have sufficient permissions to access the projects in scope and execute the actions in the rule.
Thankyou @Trudy Claspill for understanding and giving the answer as expected. Thanks once again giving answer in short period of time. and I want to know one more thing is that in my automation I'm not able to edit the actor, so do I need to contact to the main JIRA admin for changing the actor.

Hello @mohit jangid
If you are not able to edit the Actor for the rule then yes, you should contact your Jira Administrators for assistance.

Hi @mohit jangid
Whenever you ask for help with an Automation Rule it will help us to help you if you provide:
1. screen images that show your entire rule.
2. screen images showing the details of the step(s) that aren't generating the result you expect.
3.screen images showing the Audit Log details for the rule execution.
4.screen images showing the relevant data in an image that is part of the rule execution.
