A User with Administrator role cannot manage sprints in one project, but can do so in others.  Administrator role clearly has the capability to manage sprints.  Another user who is an administrator in the affected project has the ability to manage sprints.

@Robert Heynen

Can you check if the user has Manage sprint role?

Yes they do - they have Administrator permission which includes Manage Sprint Role.

What is strange is two fold - in a different project the user is set up the exact same way and can manage sprints

I am set up the same way (Administrator role) and can manage sprints in the projcet.

Also, the user used to be able to manage sprints in this project.  I also deleted and readded the user to see if that might resolve but it has not.
