priority icons

Edited

I personally don't like the priority icons.  The low and high would be fine (pointing down or up) but the highest and lowest look almost the exact same.   The team does not easily know the subtle differences in priority icons.  Can't they come up with better icons that are much easier to see a very clear difference?

How about the medium priority is a sideways arrow -> instead of pointing up like high and highest? Just using a color difference is not good for visually impaired people either.

Maybe colored circles with arrows pointing to compass points like:

lowest priority (pointing south)

to low (southeast),

medium (east),

high (northeast)

highest (north).

Just need to be able to better visualize priority settings!

Scott,

It is perfectly possible to customize priorities, also including their icons: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-upload-custom-priority-icons-in-jira-788961156.html
