Using Epic to collect Data

Hello everyone,

 

I need to collect some data in Jira using an Epic.

 

I just don´t really know how to do that or how to look at the results. I know this can be done with gadgets but not sure how and which I need. 

 

I created an epic and added a few test-tickets but somehow the results are not useful. Maybe someone here can help me.
