Use one email account to create issues for multiple Jira projects

We have configured a mail handler to automatically create issues from messages sent to an email account. Apparently Jira requires "one mail account for each JIRA project" for the mail handler configuration.  I am wondering if it is possible to configure or create a custom mail handler that can create issues for multiple JIRA projects from a single email account?

Yes, it can be done, but it will not be easy.
The first option is to use PowerScript. We implemented a similar project for a customer and it took almost 3 weeks to work, it is also difficult to maintain such a solution and we ran into a memory leak problem (most likely due to a script).

The second option is to use the plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/4832/enterprise-mail-handler-for-jira-jemh. But it is not for sale through the marketplace
