I want to start a discussion to gather input based on a request type standard for On-Boarding. In other words, how does your IT Team take in on-boarding requests, interact with HR (or the equivalent on-boarding team), and provision requests effectively throughout the department based on the initial on-boarding request?
Currently, the setup we have is a questionnaire that essentially asks the supervisor which services the new hire will need from IT (i.e Access, Provisioning, Delegation...) Pre-Jira we would then input each service as a new request one by one into the system. I want to get this process into Jira, better, and would like to know how others are tackling this.
I am assuming that the process can be accomplished through some automation tricks and the like, but I am genuinely curious in the seeing some insight on bigger interactions that might go beyond Jira but definitely shed light on how Jira can facilitate the process.
