Hello Everyone,

Do you log your time against non-project work (generic or internal activities like daily standups, weekly meetings, holidays, lunch breaks, etc.) in Jira and if so, what activities do you track and how do you currently do that?

Hi @Kasia Karska _HeroCoders_ ,

My team works according to the following algorithm:

1. For such cases, we create tasks where all teammates log their time, for example, "Weekly team meeting", "Workshop", etc.

2. Based on the data from the worklogs, we can estimate the cost of a particular activity using our Cost Tracker for Jira Cloud app. The app has an issue widget, which helps us to track this specifically for a task. The cost of a logged hour is based on a simple formula People logs * People rates .
