Just spent an hour and fifteen minutes on permissions

Does anyone  else think this is unbelievably complex with a benefit that is no where near valuable enough for this waste of time!

All I needed to do was add two people from my client to Jira and have them only see the project I just created for them.  That should be simple but instead it was this convoluted mess.  I've even done this before but it's not easy to see every setting you had to do previously as a model because it's so convoluted.   Atlassian, Please, if I'm not the only one figure out a way to make this easier.

I'm afraid "make them more simple" will generally end up with "make them less powerful"

The defaults, with "can log in" groups going into every project automatically should be changed, but if anything, the permissions schemes need more complexity as it would be better to separate some of the permissions more!
