The new board just rolled out and we're finding that we can't use markdown shortcuts or even functionality that was in the old Jira.
We use (-) and (/) to check and mark tasks, tests etc in a user story so we don't have enormous amounts of sub tasks.
This is now no longer available and it's frustrating.
We used to even be able to pick the Jira icons from a button, but now that's gone.
I used to be able to add headers quickly by adding h3. etc but now I can't do this either.
I now need to highlight text and press the menu. This is super frustrating when you're in a planning session and everyone's watching your screen fumbling around.
Also the line spacing is quite large on the soft enter and you have to shift enter to add a new line. Problem being that even this is not WYSIWYG as it appears larger.
These changes are a major step back in UX which is highly frustrating. Especially having moved from VSTS and starting to enjoy using Jira.
