Evaluation of demand and requirements for a Mobile App to support IcTime Time Tracking

Abstract

This thread is meant to discuss the current draft for a possible Mobile Frontend for IcTime. We want our customers and potential customers to provide feedback here, to get an imagination about customer needs 

 

Functionality

Find subsequent our rough functional overview for a first Mobile App version.  

Worklog handling

Create new worklog from existing and assigned issues. Support the following fields:

  • from / to or time spent
  • no charge (if enabled)
  • activities (if enabled)
  • work log attributes (if enabled)
  • description (mandatory / optional, depending on project configuration)

Estimate adjustments will not be supported.

Update / Resume worklog

Based on a limited (not more than 7 days back, only own work logs) worklog list, offer functionality to:

  • delete existing worklog
  • updated existing worklog
  • resume existing worklog

What do we want to achieve?

We want to know, if there is enough demand for mobile application support to justify the development of a separate app.

So, any feedback is appreciated. As more feedback we get as sooner we can make a well-founded decision.

£2-4 pounds per user

Functionality described looks sufficient. Pricing around 3 pounds/user is reasonable

Scope Looks fine so far.
