Business Process

  • Requestor creates a service request for a new company mobile device.
  • This is a service request with approvals
  • The requestors manager needs to approve the request before the new company mobile device can be ordered.



  • How can the requestor's manager be identified using only Jira Service Management?
  • Is this even possible out of the box with Jira Service Management?
  • Can Jira Service Management reach out to an API to find the requestor's manager?
  • Has this business process already been solved?
