Hi everyone! We’re pleased to announce that Jira Software 8.20 and Jira Service Management 4.20 Long Term Support releases are now available. As a refresher, LTS releases receive backported critical security and product bug fixes, and when architecturally possible, all other security bug fixes throughout their two-year standard support window. This long-term support makes LTS releases ideal for those of you with highly complex instances who can’t perform a major feature upgrade more than once a year.
Jira Software 8.20 will be the first LTS release to feature the inclusion of advanced roadmaps with Jira, and Jira Service Management 4.20 will be the first LTS release to include Insight - Asset Management. Additionally, your teams can take advantage of all the features we've released since 8.13/4.13, as well as the hundreds of bug fixes and security improvements that have shipped.
As a reminder for those of you who are currently on Jira Software 8.5 or Jira Service Management 4.5, the end of life (EOL) will be October 21, 2021.
