Product role not getting changed after I change the Project role to Viewer

Hi, I am using a Discovery Project and I only want to keep three Creator roles on the project.

But when I change the Project role, although the role change is getting reflected - the Product role remains the same, as seen in the below image.

I have tried removing the user and adding again and it did not work.

Please help me with this issue and let me know what I can do, Thanks!
