Looking to Use Bitbucket and Branching from Jira Work Management Tickets

Edited

We are testing out JIRA Work Management with our Operations team, and they were hoping to have the same function as Jira Software with being able to create Branches directly from the Tickets in the JWM.  We could successfully link Bitbucket to JWM project, but a Development Option doesn't appear in the left hand rail,or a Branch option in the Right Hand Rail.  Is what I am looking to do even an option in JWM?

UPDATE: When we look at the OLD VIEW in JWM, we can see the Development "widget", and we see it also in the config for the Project, but it doesn't show up in the NEW VIEW in JWM.

They seem to promote JWM specifically for business teams. Even the project templates you can choose from, when creating a new JWM project, seems to not include any software types (scrum, kanban etc).

So maybe they're either still figuring that part out, or they don't actually want JWM to be polluted by developer concerns.

Leaving the "development" option in the config is very confusing if they intend on removing/deleting that option.
