Hello Everyone,
At the moment I'm trying to track tasks for all my clients. Right now I've created a project (template) of all the tasks we need to be aware of once a client joins the company.
While I understand the option of creating individual projects for each client, this approach proves challenging for effective tracking. I am exploring possibilities to consolidate all tasks for each client within the same project workspace.
Would appreciate any help here!
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Luis Portela and welcome to the community!
If you are willing to use a third-party app, our app Deep Clone for Jira can help you to set up your new project and also can enable you to use template issue hierarchies (e.g., Epics).
Deep Clone can help you to clone your issues from your old 'client' projects to your new project. When you use our app with its Bulk Clone feature, Deep Clone can clone all issues in a project, including all field values.
You can use templates to quickly add new clients as an Epic, including connected child tasks that you need to do with each new client.
For that, you can use our Epic/Tree Clone feature.
Hi @Luis Portela
It's Mary from Planyway.
We recently released an article on how to manage multiple projects for Trello, but all these scenarios will work for Jira too.
