Our company manages time at a level above Jira tasks. If i am working on many tasks a week i end up deleting LOTS of these tasks from my Tempo board before adding the actual time periods.
The below link no longer takes one to the correct page, and there appears to be no equivalent page available in the documentation any more.
Solved: disable autmoatic activities in Tempo?
Can you provide instruction on how to turn off the Jira provider?
Hi @Peter Staples , welcome to the Community!
I think you are looking for this page, am I right?
If you want to stay connected with your provider, but temporarily hide cards coming from it, simply turn off the provider in the Filter - see Filtering Your Activity Providers for more information.
To disable the connection with a provider:
Go to Activity settings and click the edit (pencil) icon.
Sign out of your provider in the Calendar connection dialog. Signed-out providers will have an INACTIVE tag next to their names in the Activity Settings.
To reconnect to that provider, click the edit icon and sign in again.
Hi Salih,
Thank you for the welcome and the response. My Activities -> Settings doesn't quite tally up with the document.
I can't see a Jira provider (perhaps the organisation has disabled viewing it), but I can see and edit a GitHub provider (contrary to the note at the end).
I guess I will have to ask within the organisation.
Thank you for the suggestion anyway, it is the appropriate documentation.
Peter
