After installing JIRA Server on my local machine, a browser page was opened with the url, http://localhost:8080, which led me through the set-up process. I got stuck at my.atlassian.com where a trial license supposed to be generated after server id was supplied. On my localhost instance, I have no way to get to the gear or any link/tab/icon that would lead me to the server id. Not sure what I am missing here.
You have to click the Continue to MyAtlassian (Blue)button so it will automatically supply the Server ID.
Where do I see that blue button? Are you referring to the blue link on the set-me-up option? I did click that and went all the way to the page where I am supposed to generate the license key after providing the server id. As you can see, the instructions for getting the server id doesn't really work. There's nothing on my localhost console would lead me to the server id.

If for some reason it does not work then try to Inspect the page and it should show the link and the server id like so below.

Hi @Fai Chan
So where are you stuck now?
Did you get the Jira license but can't go back to your JIra to put it?
