Here is another sugestions:

Run a filter searching for those issues that you want to import to the new instance, then Export the filter result to an Excel file (with all fields), open the Excel file and conver to a CSV file, perform the proper adjust on the CSV, and perform the import to a clean Project as per of our documentation:

Hi Patrick,

Unfortunately, migrating projects between JIRA OnDemand instances is currently not possible.

You may find more information in the document below:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ONDEMANDKB/Migrating+projects+from+one+OnDemand+instance+to+another

The recommended workaround is performing a full import and deleting the information you do not need.

Alternatively, you may set up a JIRA locally (standalone, installed version), and import the issues using the project import functionality, and then perform a full import back to OnDemand.

I hope this information helps.

Sincerely,

Danilo
