Swedish character CSV import problems

Hi, I am trying to set up JIRA for our company but I am having problems with the import of swedish characters. When I am importing a CSV file generated from Excel the problem is with the characters "åäö/ÅÄÖ". They are not displayed corerctly. When manually writing the characters in the JIRA-interface I do not get this problem. I am using a SQL server. How should I proceed to be able to import/display the characters correctly?
