Hi all,
Today we reached into some interesting Scrum scenario and permission issue. Let me simplify the use case here.
Imagine you have 2 projects in Jira: A and B
Each project has own Scrum board - let's name them board Y and board Z.
Board Y is filtering only on issues from project A.
Board Z is filtering on issues form project B and A.
One issue appeared to be in 2 active sprints in different boards at the same time.
Question: I want to complete my sprint on Board A. Do I also need "Manage Sprints" permissions for project B? What will happen to my issue on board B when I complete the sprint on board A?
Please assist.
@Kyrylo Skuibida Please read the information under "Notes on working with sprints" heading, present against "Manage sprints" permission in the below document from Atlassian:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/managing-project-permissions-938847145.html
That information will make things more clear and hopefully answer your queries.
