Setting Resolution on Multiple Columns in Custom Jira Workflow

Hi community!

I am trying to implement a very simple workflow but I would like to have 3 columns in my workflow actually set the issue to resolved (because we will handle those aspects outside my sprint for now). I have setup the workflow as shown attached.

Basically when my task moves into IN DEPLOYMENT I want to set the resolution as Done and I want that to reflect in my burndown chart. Right now my burndown chart only updates when the task moves to the final Done column.

I have created a trigger to set the Resolution of the task to Done but this still does not update my burndown chart.

Can anyone help with this please?

Hi @Mathew Taylor,

I think the burndown chart is updated only, if the issue reached the rightmost column. You have to assign all of your final states (Deployment, Integration and Done) to the final column.

The resolution field does not determine the burndown.

@Thomas Schlegel I understand from your answer that burn down diagram will show only the stories that are in the final state DONE. Then what is the effect of selecting the option: Set Resolution in the state associated to a given column? thanks
