Issue - Send Instant Notification

whenever we use To:* email that contains special character " - " for example "Example-01@example.com" we get Invalid To email address. 

example@example.com work ok. 

is there a way to fix this or is this by design?

Hi Domen,

I have not seen any issues with hyphens in the outgoing email address and we just tried sending an email from JIRA with a hyphen and this did not exhibit the same results that you're experiencing. 

Are you using any mail add-ons such as Internal Notifier, etc?

Hi Domen,

Hopefully their support can figure out the problem quickly and get you an answer.  When they resolve the issue, if you dont' mind providing the resolution here that would be helpful to the whole community in case someone else runs into this issue!
