Moving Issue types from Bug to story

Hello All,

When we change the issuetype of an issue (thru More -> move menu) from Bug to Story,
it proposes to fill the fields which are not part of the Story data model.
(The WSJF fields are Epics, initiatives, and Theme fields, and "How to reproduce" is a Bug field)
What is the reason for that? Can this be avoided?

the cause is that the Story issue type has some required fields that are not part of the bug issue type. You should setup default values for the required fields in Story and, as the warning stipulates, that will be used when the move is performed. Or don't make them required fields.
