Hello,

I need to merge few fields into a single field.

Basically there are 2 custom fields and 1 system field that needs to be merged into a single system field. I have looked into the Scripting plugin but that provides ways of copying the fields and not merging them. Thus I am looking for a cleaner way to do it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

There is no *clean* way. You will have to define the alogirthm and write a script/servlet to do this or do the same thing in the database.

Whichever way you select, you will end up writing your own business logic.
