Currently Jira is allowing to map Goals only to Epic. when can we expect a Jira update where I can link Goals to Story or other issue type

Can you give more details about what is Goals here and any document link you can share to understand how Jira is allowing to map Goals to the Epic issuetype so that will get more understanding about your requirement.
