When integrating Dynatrace with Jira, it does not allow me to connect to an HTTPS certified server
What kind of permissions should my user have in Jira to be able to connect?
In Jira I have a Projects and 3 different boards
- Board1
- Board2
- Board3
How can I give permissions so that my user only has permissions on a specific board
Hi.
It was solved by performing the following.
In this way I could make the correct integration of Dynatrace with Jira
Importing the jira certificate to the dynatrace server
Hi @Emmanuel Martinez ,
welcome to the Atlassian Community!
To be honest I'm not familiar with this application, but after quick check - it seems to me really strange that "rest/api/2/" would be part of the configuration.
Did you try to use only your instance URL without the "rest" part?
I looked into the documentation and there's no additional info.

Hi.
I have a doubt, at the moment of validating the connection through POSTMAN I get the following message.
Do I need any additional permissions?
What does this message mean?

Hi @Emmanuel Martinez ,
the error message is about https vs http and ports... you need to find the correct combination, probably https + port 443...

I am trying to integrate Dynatrace with Jira.
At the moment of the integration it sends me the message.
"JIRA integration test failed - Reason: Too many test attempts. Please try again in a few seconds."
I did the test in Postman to validate the connection with Jira but it sent me the same message.
In Postman I added the Jira certificate and validated again, which was successful.
How can I add or reference the Jira certificate for the Dynatrace integration?

Hi Emmanuel. Check out this tool ZigiOps, where bi-directional integrations between Jira and Dynatrace can be made easily. We are using it for other systems and so far it is performing great.
Hope this helps! ;)
Cheers,
Eric
