If Sprint is Future and Not Made Active, then After closing the JIRA Ticket, Sprint goes missing.
If Any JIRA Ticket is created with Sprint as Future one which is not made as Active, then if we close the JIRA Ticket, then Sprint is showing as blank.
Actually, for our Product, Sprint is very important.
Can you please resolve the issue.
Hi @drcloudqa
could you please have a look into the "History"-Tab of the issue to see what happened to the "Sprint-"field?
There could be some kind of Automation, a Post Function or a user that changes the field.
I am not fully getting your scenario - Jira Software is commonly the solution in the Jira family which uses a lot the sprint field, Jira Service Magement not so much. But perhaps you meant to include issues from a Jira Service Management project on a Scrum Board in a Software project to use it in a sprint? That way around it would make sense.
As stated in the beginning, please check first if there is a change for the "Sprint"-field visible.
Cheers,
Daniel
Thank You @Daniel Ebers for your Response.
I rechecked the issue and could see that this is resolved after the Latest JIRA Upgrade.

Hello @drcloudqa and welcome to the Atlassian community.
Are you saying that a task is created and added to a sprint that isnt active. Therefore, once the ticket is resolved, the sprint field goes blank. Is that right?
Are you using Jira Software or Jira Service Management?
