How to show the project name in pull request view of a Jira ticket?

Samiron Paul September 11, 2017

Is an example of pull request view opened from the develoment panel of a Jira ticket. When you have more than projects, it possible that you will more than one entries here.

Is it somehow possible to configure this view to show the project name as well?

For example, we have three related projects

  • core library
  • backend web service
  • front end

Sometimes a particular feature touches all three of them and three separate branches are created with same name in each project. At that point, you will see three entries here with exactly same name in the title section. You have no quick way to understand which PR belongs to which project other than hovering your mouse for couple of seconds until your browser shows the link at the status bar.

Thanks for reading to the end. It would be really nice if we can configure this view to show the project name.

Regards,

Samiron

Hi Samiron,

I was unable to find a way to do that or an add-on that performed this task.  I did create a Suggestion for you on JAC that you can find at JRASERVER-65955.  Please vote on the issue and add any other comments for the developers that you believe are relevant to add impact to the feature request.

If you find another way to do this please post what you found here so the community can benefit!

Cheers,

Branden
