Hi
I tried to import Jira issues using the CSV File importer (Issues >> Import Issues from CSV) and found that the Inward issue link mapping does not exist for Link "is part of". But I observed that the Outward issue link mapping exists for Link "includes". See the attached image for details.
Typically the link "is part of" is used to link a User Story to a Feature (or Epic) which implies that the particular User Story is part of a specific Feature (or Epic). Also we use the link "includes" to link a particular User Story to a Feature (or Epic) which implies that a specific Feature (or Epic) includes the particular User Story.
Let me know whether this is as designed or is there a way to map Inward issue link with "is part of" property?
Note:
Since Link "is part of" is not available, I used the link "Relates" to map the Inward issue link as shown in the image

If you link Epics and Stories using the Jira Software board the Epic Link field is used.

Thanks for the feedback.
Is there a way we can link Features and User Stories using the "is part of" link using the CSV importer to denote that a particular User Story is part of a Feature?
Basically we are trying to achieve SAFe hierarchy as described in the attached image.

Ok so try selecting the link type first and also check the checkbox called map field values. The next screen will ask you to map "is part of" value in your CSV to is part of inward link. Try that.

Hi
I tried that but no luck - I could not see a way to map "is part of" value in my CSV to is part of inward link in the next screen as shown in the attached image.
Note: still I am using Link ("Relates") in the UI since Link ("is part of") is not avaialble.
