How to align epics to one row in portfolio?

hromek December 4, 2019

Hi there,
We are having troubles with schedulling in portfolio in the older version. We are currently working in KANBA.

Problem:
Epics aren't next to each other, but are under. The reason is, that system is filling small tasks (stories, issues) in developers capacity.

The question:
How can tell the system not to fill the small gaps and instead of that concentrate all of the developers time on one epic and start another epic after the previous is finished.

Here is how it looks like in epic view:EPICS.jpgThank you for all you advices :)

Hello @hromek ,

To get the work items to be required to be completed before the next can start, the feature you are looking for is the Dependencies settings.

Additional details on the setup and use can be seen in "Configuring the scheduling of dependencies" and "Using scope and dependencies" , but check this out and let us know if you have any additional questions.

Regards,
Earl
