How to Import from Asana

Chad Barnes December 19, 2018

I found this article on importing from Asana: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/importing-data-from-asana-938847547.html

I followed the first two steps but got stuck on the third because Asana is not a listed service.

Is it possible to import from Asana?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Guys,

I see that this issue is quite old, and remains unsolved.

As Getint.io, Atlassian Vendor, we have an app for both migration and integration of Asana, and Jira. So you can import everything you need.

You can just map the types and fields (including custom fields, attachments, comments, statuses) - and move tasks/issues very fast. You can see all the logs to make sure you have everything executed as you planned. You can install the app both as SaaS and on-premise.

Here is the link to the app - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1223932/getint-jira-asana-integration-sync?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Same problem. Not able to import from Asana at this time, so not able to use Jira. This is a deal breaker.
