How do I connect to Jira Data Base to perform queries?
I have a problem and I need to analyse the info about one user.

My problem is: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Problem-with-user-in-LDAP/qaq-p/1079241

 

I think something is wrong in the user data.

Hello,

You would need to use tools for connecting to your database. You can not do it in Jira out of the box.

Or you can install the following app:

Hi Marcela

the credentials / db related information can be found within the dbconfig.xml file that resides in the jira home directory. Using these information you can connect to the database.

To ensure that you do not impact the production environment it might make sense to run you queries on a clone of the database
