How can I close cases in a way that can no longer hide comments on them?

Júlia Paschoal Borges April 2, 2018

Even if I close the cases, my clients still can add comments on the cases. How can I change this?

Edit the workflow, and add the "workflow property" of jira.permission.comment.denied = true to the closed status

Nic,

Where can I find the "workflow property" in my Closed Status?

Click on the status when editing the issue and look for "properties"

@Júlia Paschoal Borges

  1. Go to Jira Administration
  2. Select Issues
  3. Click on workflows
  4. Click Edit for the desired workflow
  5. In Diagram view click on the "Closed" status and you should get a little popup window
  6. In the popup window, click on properties and you should see a screen with 2 fields
  7. Enter "jira.permission.comment.denied" in the Property key field
  8. Enter "true" in the Property value field
