Channel notifications in Slack

Hi,

I tried to follow instructions on https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/jira-cloud-for-slack-950819031.html  for one of our customers that use Slack and want to have integration with our Jira tickets. I am not an admin in Slack but the customer set the @Integration Team in the channel. I do not see it as a member. When the customer is using slash command /jira connect... it prompts to connect to the jira but they are not an admin of jira on our side. When I try to use /jira connect it does not prompt me anywhere. Please help to configure integration.

Hello Iana,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

In order to integrate both JIRA and Slack, the user performing the integration must be an Admin on both platforms (JIRA and Slack).

The administrator rights are required because JIRA the integration will share any information from the specific projects integrated, not applying the permission scheme.
