Can I create a next-gen proj

Hello community,

I'm using the Jira Software (version 8.4.1) and I'm trying to create a next-gen project.

However, I could not see a similar option (see image below).

Have I missed anything?

Or

those kind of projects are not supported for my current Jira software?

Or

Is this something different like add-on?

Nex gen projects are currently available only in Jira cloud.

Do you know if this will be also applicable in Jira Software version in the future?

If so, should we just to make the update in the latest package through our application?

or should we install another plugin for this?

As of now there has been no such confirmation from Atlassian on implementing this feature on Server edition.
