Hello

Situation:
I am setting up an incomming mail server in Jira cloud.
The e-mail I want to set up is from Exhcange Online/O365.
My admin account is single signed on, through the same Azure tenant as the mailbox exists in.

When attempting to add the incomming mail server, my admin account is automatically authenticated and used for the incomming mail handler.
I attempt to hit the small "Cancel" option on the Microsoft authentication screen, but this is difficult to time properly.

Question:
Given my setup, is there a way to avoid having my admin account automatically authenticated when attempting to set up an incoming mail server?

Answer from Atlassian support is:
There is no easy way to do this.

Work around can be to invite the shared mailbox as a user in Jira, give it admin permissions, sign in as shared mailbox account, and use that to add the incomming mail server.

Then the user account and admin permissions can be removed from the shared mailbox afterwards.
